Vacancy: Director of the Institute of Cellular and Systems Medicine, National Health Research Institutes

Applicants and nominations are invited for the position of the director of the Institute of Cellular and Systems Medicine at the National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan. The director is responsible for supervision of all research programs within the institute, as well as for research collaboration with other sections of NHRI and outside institutions. Prospective candidates should have strong organizational, communicative, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with others at all levels inside and outside of NHRI. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in biomedical sciences and demonstrate a successful record of conducting interdisciplinary research.

Familiarity with Taiwan's scientific and medical community, proficiency in the Chinese language, and the ability to work effectively in Taiwan's research environment are preferred.
